About the Role

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the voice of Horne Heating and Air Conditioning, helping homeowners with questions, scheduling appointments, and following up on previous recommendations. You'll build relationships with customers, provide exceptional service, and help ensure every customer receives timely communication and support throughout their experience with our company.

This role combines customer service, appointment coordination, and proactive follow-up, making it ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people while staying organized in a fast-paced office environment.

What You'll Do

Answer incoming customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy while providing helpful information about our services. Contact homeowners regarding recommended repairs, maintenance, and replacement opportunities to help schedule appointments that fit their needs.

Coordinate service, maintenance, and sales appointments while maintaining accurate customer information within company software. Work closely with dispatch, service technicians, installers, and comfort advisors to keep schedules organized and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Maintain detailed customer records, complete follow-up activities, and help strengthen long-term customer relationships through consistent communication and outstanding service.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with at least three years of customer service, client support, call center, appointment scheduling, or administrative experience. You should enjoy talking with people, be comfortable making outbound calls, and have the ability to build trust with customers over the phone.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential. Candidates should be organized, dependable, and comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other office software to manage customer information accurately.

A positive attitude, strong follow-through, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team will set you up for success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceTitan

  • Appointment setting or customer retention experience

  • Inside sales or outbound calling experience

  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or other home service industry experience

  • Bilingual English and Spanish
