**Position Summary

**

The Customer Service Representative role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by processing orders, preparing quotations, answering product and technical inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

**Strong understanding of industrial electric motors, drives, or mechanical power transmission products is preferred.

**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities

**

• Process customer orders, quotations, back orders, and return authorizations (RMAs) accurately and efficiently.

• Provide customers with product availability, order status, pricing, and delivery information.

• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate motors and related products by interpreting specifications, performance data, technical documentation and asking qualifying questions.

• Coordinate with sales, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve customer issues.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive service and proactive follow-up.

• Support warranty claims and returns in accordance with company policies.

• Maintain accurate customer records and communication within the CRM system.

• Develop and maintain exceptional understanding of Elektrim's products, applications, and industry solutions.

• Increase account penetration by calling on existing customers to introduce new products and promotions.

• Engage prospects and customers into closing conversations to generate new and repeat sales.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills

**

• High School degree or equivalent required.

• BA/BS preferred - Technical or vocational school training a plus.

• 3+ years of customer service or inside sales experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of industrial electric motors, drives, or mechanical power transmission products is preferred.

• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret product specifications and technical documentation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

• Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
