Seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative with strong healthcare administration and revenue cycle experience.
Work Schedule: 7:30am to 4:00pm
Location: 123 E James St, Lancaster, PA
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of patient registration experience
- 1+ year of clerical, administrative, or customer service experience
- 1+ year of healthcare revenue cycle experience
- Experience with insurance verification and authorization processing
- Experience collecting patient copays and financial obligations
- Previous Epic or equivalent EMR/EHR experience
- Strong computer, keyboarding, and data-entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Key Responsibilities
- Register, check in, and schedule patients accurately
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Obtain referrals and authorizations
- Process patient financial clearance and collect copays
- Manage inbound and outbound patient calls
- Enter and release orders within the EMR
- Maintain and scan patient documentation into medical records
- Resolve registration errors and work queue issues
- Escalate patient concerns appropriately
- Support high-volume patient access operations
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements
