Customer Service Representative - Syosset, New York
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative on behalf of our client in the medical device industry. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with experience supporting customers in a regulated healthcare or medical device environment and who understands the importance of compliance, accuracy, and responsiveness.
This role combines customer interaction, order processing, and regulatory awareness within a highly structured, compliance-driven setting.
Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound customer communications related to medical device products, order processing, and account setup. This individual must demonstrate strong computer proficiency, including Excel skills, and maintain awareness of FDA and ISO regulations governing medical devices.
The ideal candidate thrives in multi-system environments and understands the importance of regulatory compliance in healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, physicians, and healthcare partners
Process and manage customer orders for medical devices and related supplies
Accurately enter and maintain customer data within internal databases and CRM systems
Ensure compliance with FDA and ISO regulatory standards
Support regulatory documentation processes related to medical device distribution
Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and order tracking
Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
Participate in structured virtual training sessions and adhere to established protocols
Resolve customer inquiries efficiently while maintaining regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications
Prior experience in a medical device company or regulated healthcare environment
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations related to medical devices
Ability to manage multiple systems and screens simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort participating in structured virtual training sessions (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
