Description
A leading manufacturer of aerial lifts and specialty equipment is seeking a technician to join its service team. This person will support existing customers and dealers in the U.S. and internationally to help maximize equipment uptime. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and will work closely with the internal team to troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on field assistance when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Learn and understand the companys hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems through on-the-job training.
During the first 90 days, work both in the office and the manufacturing facility to learn the products and how they are built.
Make outbound calls to existing customers to schedule annual field inspections.
Assist customers by phone and email, answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and helping return equipment to service.
Travel to customer locations to support warranty repairs and paid service work.
Perform annual inspections on equipment both at the factory and in the field.
Conduct maintenance reviews and provide maintenance training for customers.
Support the parts, sales, and manufacturing teams with information and tasks as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience working on mobile hydraulic equipment.
Technical training and the ability to read blueprints.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Reliable and able to work independently.
Willing and able to travel.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit, stand, and walk regularly; occasional stooping, bending, or reaching above shoulders.
Ability to travel short and long distances.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
Willingness to operate equipment at elevated heights.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment
This position includes work in the office, on the manufacturing floor, and in the field. The office environment is generally quiet; the shop floor has low to moderate noise levels. Field service environments will vary, and all required PPE will be provided.
