Job Overview:

We have an opportunity available for a Customer Service Technician on our Nash team in either Bentleyville, PA or Quincy, IL (based on candidate selected). This position involves detailed interaction with internal and external customers including issuing quotations, order entry, and communicating delivery schedules. It involves communicating clearly with all internal departments and customers/distributors outside the company on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer quotes accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle order entry and order processing activities.
  • Serve as a primary customer facing contact.
  • Utilize Salesforce and SAP daily to manage customer and order data.
  • Supports manufacturing customers.
  • Works as part of a centralized customer service team.
  • All team members perform similar functions (quoting and ordering), promoting cross training and coverage.
  • Analytical skills to aid in assessing customer needs coupled with the ability to solve problems will enhance the incumbent's performance.
  • Focus on quote processing and order entry/processing for manufacturing customers. The role supports business operations through accurate data entry, customer communication, and system utilization, primarily working within Salesforce and SAP.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma Required
  • 1+ years of experience in product and/or customer service
  • 1+ years of experience in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Core Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle internal and external contacts in a positive, assertive, and effective manner.
  • Provide first-class customer service & support by e-mail and phone.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Able to interact and coordinate with internal company resources and vendor resources to resolve issues for customers and distributors.
  • Some mechanical aptitude and knowledge of our products

Preferences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Technical related field is preferred
  • SAP knowledge and experience, especially dealing with customers, customer orders, ABAP queries and service notifications is a plus.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

  • This position will be based at either our Bentleyville, PA or Quincy, IL office, depending on the candidate selected.
  • Travel is limited to rare circumstances only.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $45,000- $65,000 annually. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
