Customer Service/Underwriting Representative

Duties

As a Customer Service/Underwriting Representative (Personal Lines), you will:

• Answer calls from customers, agents, and policyholders.
• \n
• Assist customers with personal auto insurance questions.
• \n
• Review insurance applications for accuracy.
• \n
• Verify customer information and required documents.
• \n
• Process policy changes, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewals.
• \n
• Explain insurance coverage, deductibles, billing, and policy details.
• \n
• Resolve customer issues while providing excellent service.
• \n
• Document customer interactions accurately in the company system.
• \n

Requirements/Experience

• \n
• High school diploma or equivalent
• \n
• 1+ year of customer service experience (insurance experience preferred)
• \n
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• \n
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• \n
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• \n
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• \n
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• \n
• Experience answering customer calls and emails
• \n
• Experience reviewing applications and verifying information
• \n
• Ability to process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements
• \n
• Knowledge of personal auto insurance is a plus

• Monday–Friday

Shifts:

• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• \n
• 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (alternating schedule)
