Job Overview:
Service Assistant for this role would help check in all returns and duties responsible with returns. Assess and repair units sent in for warranty and non-warranty repairs. Return stock back to the warehouse when deemed sellable as new. Check-in and catalog all show returns. Transition into answering phone calls from customers, service techs, dealers, and Rep groups about technical issues, part questions, and general questions they may have. When workloads dictate, help out in production or shipping.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Check-in returns
· Assess returns and make them sellable as new
· Assess units sent in for warranty repair
· Answer phone calls
· Keep track of all phone calls in a phone log
· Check-in and catalog all show returns
· Check-in and catalog any unit
· May need to help out in other departments as workloads dictate
· Being familiar with the following is a plus
· Other duties as assigned
