Overview:
Responsible for supporting customer orders and ensuring the correct quantity of product is shipped on time. This role analyzes customer demand, inventory levels, and production needs to help maintain appropriate stock levels and support effective planning strategies.

Job Duties:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and respond to order, delivery, and planning-related questions.
- Manage and resolve customer requests and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Create and maintain customer shipping schedules and releases.
- Monitor inventory levels against customer demand requirements.
- Analyze demand trends and identify potential supply or inventory risks.
- Maintain planning parameters within the company’s ERP/MRP system.
- Monitor and support on-time delivery performance.
- Follow up on customer concerns and support root-cause and corrective-action activities.
- Coordinate engineering changes and product transition activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement and planning initiatives.
- Prepare and analyze sales forecasts and projections.
- Review production rates against sales demand and work with Production Planning to balance capacity.
- Coordinate inventory review activities and returned material processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Must have 2–3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, or a related area.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- APICS certification or coursework is a plus.
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics concepts, including raw materials, production, inventory, and finished goods.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of MRP concepts and processes.
- Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
