As a Pharmetika Customer Support Specialist, you will serve as a trusted resource for
\npharmacy teams using Pharmetika’s Electric Lab and ION customer offerings. You will assist
\ntechnicians, pharmacists, and pharmacy staff by troubleshooting issues, answering workflow
\nquestions, providing product guidance, and helping customers maximize the value of our
\nplatform.
\nThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a compounding pharmacy, enjoys solving
\nproblems, communicates clearly, and is excited to learn new technology.
\nResponsibilities
\n● Act as a product champion, prioritizing client success and maintaining a high standard of
\nservice.
\n● Provide exceptional phone, email, and chat communications to pharmacy customers.
\n● Distinguish between software defects and user errors, guiding customers toward appropriate
\nsolutions for both.
\n● Assist customers with compounding workflows, inventory management, prescription
\nprocessing, and billing-related questions within the software.
\n● Documents clear, accurate and detailed customer interactions and resolutions for
\nrepeatability.
\n● Escalate software defects or complex issues to the appropriate internal teams.
\n● Collaborate with Product, Development, Implementation, and Training teams to improve
\nthe customer experience.
\n● Identify opportunities to educate customers on best practices and more efficient
\nworkflows.
\n● Test new software features and provide feedback from the perspective of a pharmacy
\nend user.
\n● Maintain a high level of product knowledge through ongoing training.
\n● Troubleshoot and classify issues to support root-cause resolution.
\n● Ability to maintain empathy and patience while assisting users who may be stressed or in
\nhigh-pressure environments.
\n● A self-starter mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity while working independently.
\n● Willingness and capability to travel for annual client visits if required (preferred).
\nQualifications
\nRequired
\n● 2+ years of experience as a Compounding Pharmacy Technician.
\n● Strong understanding of non-sterile and/or sterile compounding workflows.
\n● Proficient in navigating standard operating systems (macOS, Windows) and common
\nproductivity software.
\n● Familiarity with pharmacy inventory management, prescription processing, and
\ncompounding documentation.
\n● Excellent communication and customer service skills.
\n● Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking abilities.
\n● Comfortable learning new software applications.
\n● Ability to manage and appropriately prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced
\nenvironment.
\nPreferred
\n● Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) or applicable state registration.
\n● Experience using a compounding pharmacy management software.
\n● Technical support or customer service experience is a plus.
