The Entry Specialist is responsible for managing both pre-entry and post-entry customs processing activities. This role involves interacting with customers, preparing necessary documentation, resolving customs issues and ensuring compliance with regulations. This is an on site only position and remote work is not an option at this time.
Key Responsibilities
Determine classification, value and entry requirements; prepare and submit customs entry filings and documents
Maintain up-to-date customer classification references and customs files
Address post-entry customs issues, including refund requests, duty tenders and inquiries
Conduct compliance reviews of pre and post entry files to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations
Collaborate with other tea members and departments to ensure efficient customs processing and issue resolution
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting with documentation needs
Qualifications
Previous experience in customs compliance
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in relevant Microsoft office software applications
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
