Serve as the trusted link between customers, brokers, and internal teams while resolving challenges, improving processes, and ensuring efficient import operations.

Tasks

As the Customs Broker Management Coordinator, you will perform the following duties:

  • Act as a central point of contact for feedback from external/internal
  • Customers, Importers of Record and Brokers
  • Work independently to handle Customer Complaints and General Status updates
  • Manage disruptions
  • Take over operational clarifications and the coordination of solutions between involved stakeholders
  • Be responsible for steering and overseeing clarifications related to outside brokerage services for US Imports
  • Support internal requests from operations (e.g., Warehouse Department, Transportation Department)
  • Work with process managers and other departments as needed to address complaints and necessary improvements
  • Provide analysis and recommendations where applicable (e.g., Scrap Report, Data overviews, etc.)
  • Support on record keeping of entry documents
  • All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED desirable
  • +3 years of professional experience desirable
  • Import or Export compliance experience desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Desired knowledge in Aviation Logistics / Transportation / Import/Export / Supply Chain / Analysis / Customer Service
  • Warehouse operations background desirable
  • Freight forwarding background desirable
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint/Visio as expert
  • Knowledge of SAP R/3 or other ERP system is desirable
  • Excellent use of email, internet, and other computer tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Excellent responsibility
  • Excellent teamwork
  • Willingness to travel
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
