Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly

Pay: $17.25/hour + 8% shift differential (~$18.63/hour all-in) — plus a hiring/retention bonus of up to $1,000 in your first year

Schedule: 3rd Shift — Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM. May train on 1st shift initially.

About the Role

Stark Carpet is hiring an experienced machine operator to run our cut table on 3rd shift in Calhoun, GA. You'll cut stock and custom carpet fabrications, inspect product at the production tables, and help keep quality high before pieces ship to designers and showrooms across the country. It's hands-on production work in a warehouse setting, with a steady pace and clear daily output.

A Note on the Shift

This is overnight work — 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday — with an 8% premium baked into your pay. Some operators train on 1st shift before moving over so you can learn the tables alongside the daytime crew. The right person likes a quieter shift, a predictable schedule, and getting their work done without a lot of foot traffic.

What You'll Do

• Cut stock and custom carpet fabrications to spec
• Inspect product at custom and stock production tables
• Cut damaged sections out of carpet rolls and return undamaged product to inventory
• Inspect returned carpet and determine what can go back into stock
• Back up other production tables as needed
• Work safely around moving machinery in a warehouse environment

Required

• Hands-on experience operating machinery in a warehouse, factory, or production setting (does not need to be cut-table-specific)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable working overnight (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM), Sunday – Thursday
• Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and use your hands for fine and gross manipulation throughout a full shift
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment with temperature and humidity changes and occasional outdoor exposure
• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

• Prior experience with cut tables, carpet, textiles, or similar production lines
• Experience reading work orders or cut sheets and managing competing priorities
