Cutter-2nd Shift

Advance Services is seeking a Cutter to operate machine designed to detach the spine of books from the pages, cutting through the glue and rubber banding all components together and sorting back onto cart. 
 
Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties in the assigned area.
• Empty buckets and collection bins throughout the facility.
• Collect, separate, and sort recyclable materials such as paper and other items.
• Ensure proper disposal and placement of trash versus recyclable materials.
• Sweep and maintain cleanliness of floors and work zones.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with other recycling or housekeeping tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Steel toed shoes upon arrival
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Good attention to detail when sorting recyclables.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures.

Shift is Monday to Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm with some overtime and weekend work as required unless otherwise previously approved to be off of work.  

Pay $17.00 per hour
