Cutting Operator 2nd Shift

The Cutting Machine Operator 2nd Shift is responsible for operating a variety of cutting and material-processing equipment to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production deadlines. This role ensures materials are accurately cut within established tolerances while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This position requires operating industrial equipment and regularly lifting and moving materials throughout the shift.

• Safety, SOP & 6S Compliance
• Workplace Organization & Material Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, work instructions, and production specifications.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Ability to safely operate production equipment and follow established safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move materials weighing up to 100 pounds throughout the workday.

Preferred

• Previous cutting machine, production equipment, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating equipment such as panel saws, table saws, die cutters, routers, slitters, guillotine cutters, or similar machinery.
• Experience performing quality inspections and working within production tolerances.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience in the printing, packaging, POP display, or manufacturing industry.
