Central Virginia Community College is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. CVCC is a comprehensive two-year institution of higher education with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students in occupational/technical programs and university-parallel/college transfer programs.

Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support the operations of the CVCC Educational Foundation and Institutional Advancement office. This position plays a critical role in advancing the college's mission by ensuring efficient scholarship administration, donor stewardship, board engagement, and foundation operations.

This position serves as a key operational partner within the Institutional Advancement team, managing core processes that support student scholarships, donor engagement, foundation governance, and grant tracking. This role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and a commitment to excellent service for students, donors, board members, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Foundation's scholarship process from application through award and reporting
  • Coordinate board and committee meetings, including agendas, materials, and minutes
  • Support daily office operations, budgets, events, and executive scheduling
  • Process and track donor gifts, pledges, and acknowledgments
  • Assist with grant tracking, reporting, and reimbursement requests
  • Serve as a key point of contact for students, donors, and community partners
