What You’ll Do:
  • Provide expert nursing care to cardiac ICU patients, including those requiring advanced circulatory support and monitoring.
  • Perform IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, Swan Ganz catheter care, and conscious sedation.
  • Maintain and operate equipment like balloon pumps and PA lines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Document patient progress accurately using Epic electronic health records system.
  • Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed, within scope of practice.
  • Support patient safety and comfort during shifts, including some weekend and holiday coverage.

What You Need:
  • Valid Ohio RN license; current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • At least 2 years of cardiac ICU experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in IV insertion, telemetry, vents, Swan Ganz, and conscious sedation.
  • Previous experience with Epic EMR system and prior travel nursing preferred.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
