What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized cardiovascular surgical recovery nursing care in the CVOR unit
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, anesthesia effects, and post-op recovery
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Administer medications and assist with invasive procedures as needed
• Document patient status accurately in EPIC EMR
• Respond promptly to patient needs and communicate effectively with team members

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• At least 2 years of CVOR nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac surgery/perfusion post-op care
• Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
