What Youll Do
Scrub and circulate on cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, and more
Maintain aseptic techniques throughout procedures
Assist with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing and documentation
Work with a variety of surgical equipment and assist in emergency situations as part of the trauma team
Support intraoperative care including monitoring, charting, and equipment prep
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth surgical operations
What You Need
Required:
Certified Surgical Tech (CST) with scrub experience
5+ years total CST experience
2+ years cardiovascular and vascular experience
1+ year CVOR experience in a Level I Trauma facility
BLS certification
Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
Proficiency in endovascular techniques (hard stop required) and EPIC charting system
Preferred:
Experience in emergency or trauma settings
Strong aseptic and surgical technical skills
