We are looking for a dedicated CVOR Technician to join our Surgical Services team, supporting life-saving cardiac and vascular procedures. Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of total Certified Surgical Tech (CST) experience
  • At least 2+ years of experience in cardiac and vascular surgeries
  • 1+ year of CVOR experience handling cardiovascular procedures
  • Thorough scrub experience in the OR
  • Proficiency with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
  • Strong aseptic technique and patient safety awareness
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with the surgical team, including crash cart management and equipment documentation
  • Familiarity with OR charting systems, specifically EPIC
  • Certifications: BLS required

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in a Level I Trauma facility
  • Previous exposure to thoracic, vascular, and CVOR procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacements
  • Additional certifications in specialized surgical techniques or equipment

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
  • 5+ years of OR experience with a focus on cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Prior experience working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments

Other Requirements:
  • Flexible availability to work evenings (2x8 and 2x12 shifts) with weekend rotations
  • Ability to work within a 0630-2300 time frame as needed
  • Willingness to work across various surgical and hospital settings within the designated hours
  • Valid licensure and certifications in good standing
  • Travel and reimbursements applicable when required
