We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CVOR Tech to provide exceptional support in surgical services specializing in cardiovascular procedures. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR Tech or surgical technologist
- Proven expertise in Level 1 Trauma Center settings
- Hands-on experience with vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgery cases (e.g., Aortic Aneurysm Repair, CABG, Valve Replacements, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD, Heart & Lung Transplant)
- Certification: BCLS and NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist
- Ability to prepare pump lines from perfusion and assist with cannulation procedures
- Familiarity with intraoperative procedures including receiving pump lines, managing surgical instruments, and supporting complex cardiovascular operations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with robotic-assisted cardiac surgeries
- Knowledge of Endovascular procedures like EVAR and endovascular aneurysm repairs
- Prior experience working with transcatheter procedures such as TAVR
- Additional certifications in cardiac or vascular surgery techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal surgical technology education preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant CVOR surgical tech experience, preferably in high-volume trauma or transplant centers
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work a 4x10 hour shift (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Willingness to participate in 90-120 hours of call over a 6-week schedule
- First-time travelers accepted with Level 1 Trauma experience
- Candidates must submit availability for 2-3 days of interviews
