What Youll Do
- Assist in a variety of cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, transplant, and general surgical procedures.
- Support cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, ECMO, VAD implantations, and more.
- Aid in vascular interventions like AAA repairs, bypasses, endovascular procedures, and amputations.
- Prepare and maintain operating rooms, ensuring sterile protocols and proper equipment setup.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care during complex procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic or Excellian systems.
- Adhere to all safety and hospital policies, including proper parking and scrub attire.
What You Need
Required:
- Valid NBSTSA or NCCT certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR or perioperative experience in cardiovascular or vascular surgery
Preferred:
- Experience with complex cardiac and vascular procedures
- Flexibility to work up to two weekends per month and some holidays
