Responsibilities

The EP Lab CVT Charge, reporting to the director or manager, is responsible for overseeing procedures, which include all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies. This role ensures the delivery of safe patient care and involves working as a scrub assistant. This is a full-time position during the day shift and is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications
  • Education
    • Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, LPN, or Paramedic.
    • Alternatively, a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience and:
      • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (to be obtained within 12 months of hire) OR
      • Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (to be obtained within 12 months of hire)
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
    • If ARRT is not held, one of the following licenses or certifications is required:
      • FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR
      • FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR
      • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR
      • Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
      • Any of the above licenses/certifications must be obtained within 12 months of hire if no degree in the relevant fields
  • BLS certification is required
  • ACLS certification is required
