Operations Analyst – Tax Operations

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (111 S Main, 10th Floor)
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Duration: 6-Month Contract

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Tax Operations team, supporting global banking and asset management businesses. You'll gain hands-on experience with client tax documentation, regulatory compliance, and operational processes while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate client tax documentation, including W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, and W-8IMY forms.
• Analyze and respond to client inquiries regarding tax documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Provide tax-related operational support to investment professionals, client service teams, and clients.
• Investigate and resolve documentation exceptions and process breaks.
• Ensure accurate tax withholding and reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete time-sensitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ years of experience in Operations, Tax, Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Understanding of W-9 and W-8 tax forms, Client Onboarding, or KYC processes.
• Experience with SQL or Alteryx is a plus.

Schedule

• Full-time, on-site in Salt Lake City.
• Candidates must be flexible and willing to work significant overtime.
• Minimum 50 hours per week, with additional overtime based on business needs.
