CW Driver (CA/MX)

Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect inbound freight for accuracy, damage, and compliance with documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs entries.

Verify shipment details against brokerage records to ensure all customs holds, exams, and releases are properly documented before cargo movement.

Stage, sort, and store cargo in designated warehouse zones using proper materialhandling techniques.

Prepare outbound shipments, including labeling, palletizing, shrinkwrapping, and coordinating with carriers for pickup.

Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and RF scanners in a safe and compliant manner.

Maintain accurate inventory records, including cycle counts, discrepancy reporting, and updates to ERPs.

Support customs inspections (CBP, Mexico Customs, etc.) by locating freight, preparing exam areas, and documenting results.

Ensure regulatory compliance, including bonded cargo handling, security protocols, and chainofcustody requirements.

Keep warehouse areas clean and organized, following safety standards and housekeeping expectations.

Communicate with brokerage staff, drivers, and carriers to coordinate freight movement and resolve issues.


Experience

12 years of warehouse, logistics, or freighthandling experience

Experience with receiving, staging, and shipping freight, including verifying counts and inspecting cargo

Ability to operate materialhandling equipment (pallet jack required;forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain)

Basic computer proficiency, including data entry, label printing, and use of warehouse systems

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in warehouse/dock environments

Strong attention to detail, especially when matching freight to documentation

Reliable bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish) for coordinating with brokers, drivers, and inspectors

Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
