CWI Welding Inspector

This role, positioned on the second shift, involves rigorous monitoring and documentation of production activities to ensure alignment with AWS D1.1 standards and internal quality benchmarks. Your responsibilities will include overseeing processes such as cutting, punching, shearing, stamping, notching, welding, and painting using GMAW Spray Transfer methods. Key duties include performing daily floor and weld checks, certifying welder competencies, meticulously maintaining qualification and inspection records, and ensuring compliance with welding standards and equipment functionality. A thorough understanding of fabrication drawings will enhance your effectiveness in this role. As an integral part of our quality assurance team, you will occasionally travel for professional engagements and contribute to our Quality Assurance Manual's upkeep.
