Cyber Data Privacy - Associate Attorney
We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Cyber/Data/Privacy practice group. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our attorneys and clients to provide expert counsel on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues, including CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and other privacy law compliance
- Conduct information security and privacy due diligence for corporate transactions
- Draft data processing agreements and privacy schedules in commercial transactions
- Assist with data breach response and incident response planning
- Engage directly with clients and lead significant projects
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience advising clients on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues
- High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Experience working in a private law firm or in-house position
