Overview:
VTG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SETA with IT and Cyber Security focus in Chantilly VA.  

 

Responsibilities:
Systems Engineering/Security Management
  • Provides detailed and focused engineering support (hardware and software) through its entire life cycle, from requirements determination through operations and system retirement with an emphasis on domain expert involvement, risk/opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meeting the needs of the specific project.  Define system requirements and CONOPS and refines them as needed. 
  • Project management responsibilities as necessary to include project documentation and communication plans
  • Technical expertise and meeting facilitation across multiple groups to capture requirements. Takes and distributes minutes and actions
  • Provides support to discover and manage cyber risk, understand applicable policies, and develop mitigation plans and tracking system for Authorization and Accreditation and Authority to Operate. 
  • Develops and implements security solutions in alignment with security policy and mission requirements. Conducts cyber security assessments, security design engineering, and threat monitoring of non-IT systems. 
Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI with Poly Required
  • 3+ years of experience with systems engineering or software development lifecycles
  • Experience participating in working groups or leading technical meetings
  • Knowledge of software vulnerabilities, exploits, or cyber security
  • Experience helping clients develop and implement technology roadmaps and strategies
  • Experience helping clients oversee research and development efforts
  • Experience with researching and assessing emerging technologies 
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across multiple organizations 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
