Job Title: Cyber Resilience Business Analyst
Location: Washington, DC (On-site)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)
About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Cyber Resilience Business Analyst for a major passenger-rail and transportation organization in Washington, DC.
You will sit between business analysis and enterprise resilience: continuity, disaster recovery, cyber-recovery coordination, and operational readiness. This is not a generic Agile BA seat.
What You’ll Do:
- Support cyber resiliency planning, business continuity, and cyber-recovery coordination.
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and traceability.
- Map processes, workflows, sequence diagrams, and activity models; flag vulnerabilities.
- Write test cases and manage UAT for readiness and resilience solutions.
- Coordinate tabletop exercises, resilience tests, and DR assessments.
- Define resilience metrics and KPIs; report to executives; support policy and control compliance.
- Facilitate workshops, change adoption, user docs, and training.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years as a Business Analyst on enterprise IT, business continuity, or cyber resilience.
- Formal BA methods; Visio (or equivalent) process mapping.
- Requirements tools such as Jira or HP Quality Center.
- Strong workshop facilitation and executive-ready communication.
- Ability to drive deliverables independently.
- Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CBAP, CBCP, or CRISC.
- Travel, airline, or large-enterprise operations.
- Exposure to SAP, Ariba, POS, kiosk, mobile, or distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s in Business, IS, Cybersecurity, or related.
