Job Description Key Responsibilities- Define, document, and promote consistent cybersecurity architecture standards, patterns, and requirements across business and IT initiatives.
- Provide security architecture reviews and consultative guidance for new and existing projects, ensuring alignment with corporate security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform threat modeling and security architecture assessments to identify risks, evaluate mitigation options, and recommend appropriate controls.
- Develop and maintain security architecture artifacts, including standards, guidelines, and review documentation.
- Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to represent cybersecurity architecture requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve or standardize existing architectures, including cloud, application, network, and API security patterns.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to support secure by design solutions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field OR equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in information technology or cybersecurity related roles.
- Foundational knowledge of information security principles, including network, system, and application security concepts.
- Experience reviewing or contributing to security architecture, security requirements, or technical design documentation.
- Ability to objectively analyze technical designs and identify security risks and mitigation approaches.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting or contributing to security architecture or engineering initiatives in an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with common security standards or frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST, CIS).
- Exposure to cloud security, application security, API security, or infrastructure security.
- Security-related certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CISA) are a plus but not required
