Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst in support of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. NASIC is responsible for creating all-source intelligence defining the present and future air, air defense, cyber, space and ballistic missile threats to enable military operations, force modernization, and policy making. They should have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver and have broad knowledge of IT security principles, including systems and database software, storage technology, risk evaluation, vulnerability mitigation, and IT security tools. They should also have knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, security frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework), and experience in implementing and managing information security programs and controls.
Summary of Responsibilities
Will serve as Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and operate as a part of a team. Daily tasks will include managing software and information system certifications and approvals, incident response coordination, workforce cybersecurity training, and maintenance and content updates of cybersecurity websites.

Basic Qualifications for a Cybersecurity Analyst:
One of the following:
Bachelor''s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with a minimum of 2 years related experience
Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with a minimum of 1-year related experience
Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance
IAT Level II certification such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or Security+
Knowledge in securing operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle), and network devices (routers, switches)
Understanding of security technologies, such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, antivirus solutions, etc.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst:
One of the following:
Bachelor''s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with a minimum of 5 years related experience
Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with a minimum of 3 years related experience
Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance
IAT Level II certification such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or Security+

Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate''s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
