About This Job

Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for an experienced Lead Cybersecurity Analyst. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop cybersecurity documentation and conduct peer reviews
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of classified information systems to identify associated vulnerabilities, risks and protection needs.
  • Provide cybersecurity support for the change management process
  • Perform, document and provide recommendations to the ISSM on security audits, evaluations, and risk assessments for all classified systems
  • Update and complete Body of Evidence paperwork and artifacts
  • Serve as a technical expert and focal point for cybersecurity policies, planning, programs, initiatives, certification, and accreditation
  • Provide recommendations and assistance regarding security aspects of processing, storage, retrieval, transmission, and access of classified and unclassified information

#ASFSRequired Education, Experience, & Skills Education and Experience Requirements are as follows:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or other related technical discipline with 7+ years of experience, or MS degree in Computer Science or other related technical discipline with 5+ years of experience or High School diploma and 10+ years of related experience
  • Specific training and education in Cybersecurity
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity methodologies, tools, and systems
  • Proven capacity to identify vulnerabilities and create impactful mitigation plans
  • Comfortable working independently to manage projects and tasks to completion
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Exceptional troubleshooter with experience resolving complex technical issues

Certification Requirement

The applicant must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I or higher certification requirements on hire date.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • IAM Level III certification (CISSP or equivalent)
  • General understanding of computer networks, hardware, databases, applications, security components, computer operations, and operating system maintenance
  • Understanding of the DoW environment and familiarity with the DoW Acquisition System
  • The ability to mediate differing perspectives and develop consensus relating to cybersecurity principles and regulations; ability to build bridges across organizational boundaries, and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical leaders across large complex organizations
  • An individual with high integrity, strong work ethic and initiative, and capable of building strong, trusting relationships

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $107359 - $182510

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
