Cybersecurity Architect (Security Architecture & Detection Strategy)

CyberLinx Solutions, LLC is seeking a forward-thinking Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise security architecture and detection strategy. This role is responsible for establishing long-term security vision, developing scalable defenses, and building advanced detection capabilities to identify and respond to emerging threats.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic planning to ensure resilient, proactive, and intelligence-driven security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain long-term cybersecurity architecture aligned with business and technology strategy
• Develop and implement enterprise-wide detection and response strategies (SIEM, EDR, XDR, SOAR)
• Define security reference architectures, standards, and roadmaps
• Lead threat modeling and adversary simulation to inform detection use cases
• Build and mature detection engineering practices, including use case development and tuning
• Collaborate with Security Operations (SOC) to enhance monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities
• Evaluate and integrate advanced security technologies and analytics platforms
• Align architecture with frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and Zero Trust principles
• Ensure scalability, automation, and resilience in detection and response systems
• Provide architectural guidance to cloud, network, and application teams
