Cybersecurity Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled professional who can bridge the gap between development and cybersecurity. This role involves guiding teams to address security vulnerabilities while maintaining a focus on risk management and secure coding practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to communicate effectively with both engineers and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, and vulnerability management
• Proficiency in secure architecture, API security, IAM, and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Ability to integrate and automate security testing within CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in managing technical debt and software supply chain risks
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, risk management, and penetration testing
• Experience with JavaScript, Linux, and network security

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Guide development teams to triage and remediate security findings
• Serve as a liaison between engineering and security stakeholders
• Consult on secure coding practices and help manage upgrade paths
