GTSC seeks Cybersecurity Engineer – Zero Trust / RMF / SIEM<\/b><\/span> <\/span>for mid -August 2026 start. Commitment to start must be by 30 June in order to complete background checks required for this position.<\/span>

Location<\/b>: This is a local remote position in the metropolitan Washington DC area. There will be occasions when you are asked to perform some work onsite or to meet with other team members.<\/span>

Your role will be enterprise cybersecurity engineering across Zero Trust, identity -centric access, least privilege, continuous monitoring, threat detection, secure configuration, hardening, NIST SP 800 -53, NIST SP 800 -207, cloud, network, endpoint, and identity environments.<\/span>

  • Implement security controls and Zero Trust architecture.<\/span>

  • Support vulnerability management + IR.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Own monitoring and compliance posture.<\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Required Expertise<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • NIST SP 800 -53 control implementation.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Zero Trust (SP 800 -207).<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • SIEM + logging + monitoring.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Incident response + RCA.<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Desired Expertise<\/b>
      <\/p>

      • AWS/Azure cloud security.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • CISSP / CISM certification.<\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>

         
        <\/p>

        Your expertise and resume should reference your background with Zero Trust, NIST SP 800 -53, NIST SP 800 -207, IAM, RBAC, PAM, MFA, SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, RCA, change management, SOP development, audit readiness, and security documentation.<\/span>
