South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Cybersecurity & Network Administration Professor to begin in the 2026-2027 academic year. The position offers a 177-day contract with a total annual salary of $84,742, which includes a $6,400 high-demand stipend) and focuses on creating innovative, collaborative learning experiences to maximize student success. The employment start date is September 14, 2026. This position may serve as the Faculty Lead for the department, with compensation either as a 1/3 reduction in teaching load or a stipend, pending discussions with the dean and VPI.

The full-time, tenure-track faculty member will work with other faculty members, staff, and administrators to:
Qualifications You Possess
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, OR an Associate's degree in Information Technology, AND two years of industry-related experience.
Sound working knowledge of Linux, Microsoft Workstation, Microsoft Server, Cisco network routers and switches, virtualization, and penetration testing software.
Minimum of two years of recent and relevant work experience in an information technology field and/or providing information technology instruction at the post-secondary level.
Industry certifications, including at least CompTIA Security+ and Cisco CCNA.
Cisco Academy Instructor with access to teach CCNA courses.
Collaborative -- The ability to work in culturally diverse groups toward a common goal by involving, including, and valuing others.
A commitment and ability to work effectively with students of various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, including a wide range of student preparedness and physical abilities.
Teaching or work experience in networking, network hardware support, and/or cybersecurity technologies.
Expressed ability to work evenings and weekends, often in online and/or virtual environments.
Willingness to discuss the needs of additional faculty lead duties.

COMPENSATION
