Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position

- Own the currentdevelopment and execution of the programvulnerability management processacross the entire programandintegrating AI into each step of the way
- Execute and analyze vulnerabilityscanresults using DISA ACAS andAnchoreGrype
- Conductremediation efforts and verifyingvulnerabilities are addressed in patched systems
- Conductstatic and dynamiccode analysisusing industry standard tools to detect securityweaknesses andinform remediation efforts
- Perform software dependency management, including tracking, updating, and assessing third-party components for known vulnerabilities
- Generateandmaintainsoftware billsof materials (SBOM)forsupportingsupply chain risk management and vulnerability tracking
- Recommendand implementconfigurationandhardeningremediationforsystems and applications tocomply withUS Govt, Industry, or Vendor guidance
- Produceandmaintainthe programs Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) to include vulnerabilities and compliance findings
- Produce&deliver security artifacts(Body of Evidence)that directly support the assessment of systems and applicationsbeing accredited
- Buildandmaintainsecuritytoolsthrough scripting, containers,CI/CD pipelines, and other automation
- Produceand deliversecurityartifactsoffindingswith concise description of the issue, supporting evidence, reference material, and recommended mitigations
- Monitor emerging threats, CVEs,and evolving security best practicesand apply findings to supported technologies and program security posture
- Developand executeofsecurity test plans,automated security tests, andverification and validation activities
- Develop technical skills and cybersecurityexpertisethrough on-the-job experience, mentorship, and cross-training with senior engineers
Skillsyoullbring
- Proficiencyin one ormore languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, or Rust.
- Practical experience working in Linux environments(preferablyPitBull), including command-lineproficiencyand familiarity with OS-level security controls
- ProficiencyinDISASecurity Technical Implementation Guides(STIGs)including nomenclature,tooling, and hardening
- Proficiencywith securitytesting and vulnerability managementtoolingincludingSAST, DAST, SCA,andcontainer scanning,with hands-on experience using tools such asSonarQube, Fortify,OpenSCAP,Syft,Grype, ACAS
- Proficiencyofsecure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) principles,practices, andcommon application-security vulnerabilities
- Experienceutilizingsecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, RMF, OWASP, CWE, CVE, STIGs,OVAL, CVSS,or secure coding standards
- Experiencesupporting systemaccreditationand authorization activitiesforRMFandNCDSMOassessments
- ProficiencyapplyingNISTSP 800-53Security Controls,overlays, and tailoring guidance to support system security plans and authorization packages
- Experience usingagentic or generativeAItoolsto develop, analyze, or automate solutions for cybersecurity problems
- Experiencewith containers such asPodman(preferred),Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with Gitlab and CI/CD pipelines
- ISC CISSPdesired; willing to pursue certification over time
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity withCross Domain Solutions,NCDSMO Raise the Bar, and other NCDSMO CDS guidance
- Experience with Ansible test management framework.
- Experience withvirtualization infrastructure and containers,ESXipreferred
- Experience inDevSecOpsenvironments andsecuringCI/CD pipeline
- Experience usingAnchoreSyftand AnchorGrype
- Current SIPR access
Workplace Options:
This position is Hybrid/Flex or fully on site as desired at the Scottsdale, AZ facility.
Salary Note
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Combined Salary Range
USD $112,924.00 - USD $125,275.00 /Yr.
