Cimarron is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado. Key Duties: Leverage technical skills and knowledge to support mission-oriented cybersecurity. Engineer systems to function with the required security features in place. Conduct periodic manual and automated scans and inspections to ensure compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditations issued by the MDA Authorizing Official. Support Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) reporting requirements and ensure appropriate security patches are installed. Manage System Security Plan documentation in eMASS and update the eMASS Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) in accordance with RMF continuous monitoring requirements. Periodically conduct a complete review of each system's RMF Control Compliance Indicators (CCI) and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed. Apply cybersecurity principles to provide realistic configuration management solutions that enhance the cybersecurity posture. Understand the Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation process. Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at the time. Active Secret Security Clearance. Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening. 2 or more years of related experience. Familiarity with Trellix/McAfee product (i.e., HBSS, ESS, ENS). Proficiency in using eMASS, including updating the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) in alignment with RMF continuous monitoring requirements. Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+). High School diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of experience, or Associate degree and 2 or more years of experience, or Bachelor's degree. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: Ability to document work thoroughly and follow DoD and MDA enterprise processes and procedures. Knowledge of BMDS (Ballistic Missile Defense System), war-games, and military exercises. Familiarity with NIST 800-53 accreditation processes and documentation. Experience with multi-factor authentication technologies such as RSA and PKI. Understanding of Common Criteria requirements and FIPS 140-2 standards. Experience with patch management, vulnerability management, and Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM). Familiarity with centralized log servers such as ELASTIC or ArcSight. Knowledge of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Experience using tools such as SCCM, WSUS, and ACAS. Working knowledge of Windows 10 patch/update management.
