In this role, you'll monitor our client's networks for security issues, install and maintain security software, and document any issues or breaches you uncover along the way. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in today's cybersecurity threats and prevention methods and brings a strong understanding of computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor computer systems and networks for security issues and breachesInvestigate and document security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents
Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructureTest company software, firmware, and firewalls to keep them current and secure
Help develop security standards and best practices for the organizationTrain associates on network and data security procedures and best practices
Respond to system and network security breachesRun diagnostic tests to identify vulnerabilities, then patch or update systems as needed
Prepare reports documenting security audit findings and remediation strategiesRecommend modifications in legal, technical, and regulatory areas affecting IT security
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Support Technician or in a similar roleExperience with network penetration testing techniques
Working knowledge of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS conceptsAbility to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities — and explain how to prevent them
Experience with multi-factor authentication tools (e.g., Duo)Experience with Microsoft Office 365
Experience with SentinelOneUnderstanding of patch management, with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner
Cyber incident response experienceProfessional certification in cybersecurity (such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP) is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
