    Distribution Center Inventory Cycle Counter

    Reports To: DC Supervisor or Designee

    Location: Phoenix, AZ

As we continue to grow and expand our product offerings, we are seeking a detailed, experienced Cycle Counter/Inventory Control associate for our expanding team in Phoenix.

    Job Summary:

    Performs inventory control duties to ensure optimal inventory levels. Performs daily cycle-count activities including root cause analysis and suggests corrective actions as needed. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies Supervisor of irregularities. Prepare and submit inventory control reports as needed. Responds to inquiries regarding products and inventories.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Cycle count raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-confirming materials on a daily basis
    • Utilize E10 software to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity
    • Ensure materials are in proper locations, conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
    • Open cartons, bundles and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Weigh and mark/label product displaying remaining product left
    • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision, publish weekly, monthly and quarterly inventory metrics
    • Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed, recommending process improvements to eliminate inventory discrepancies
    • Abides by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Experience:

    • Inventory control, cycle counting, order picker experience
    • Experience with Epicor desired but not required
    • Minimum 3 years experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting
    • Working knowledge and proficiency using a computer and related Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently
    • Team player

    Skills/Requirements

    • Strong interpersonal communication skills
    • Well organized and detail oriented
    • Forklift certified
    • Ability to use mathematical functions to calculate weights
    • Multi-task efficiently
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Knowledge of Epicor a plus
    • Forklift certified, or ability to become certified

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Associates' Degree preferred
