Cycle Counter, Model Y, Production Control

As a Cycle Counter for Inventory Control, the responsibilities will be focused on maintaining accurate inventory to support vehicle manufacturing. The Cycle Counter will be required to work with multiple organizations to minimuze inventory variances and implement improved processes to increase overall inventory accuracy.

• Perform inventory counts to meet financial requirements and to support production planning
• Resolving discrepancies, examine and investigate misidentified or out of balance items with root cause analysis and identifying necessary preventive measure to assure there are no re-occurrence
• Identify problematic inventory records/transactions, ensure inventory balances are accurately maintained in all systems
• Conduct daily inventory physical counts and transactions in MFS to ensure inventory accuracy
• Resolve process issues related to material management, warehousing, and production control
• Work with cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, Production, Logistics, and Purchasing) to ensure inventory control practices are being followed and assist in continuous improvement initiatives
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Inventory Control, Manufacturing, or warehouse mgmt
• Inventory Control experience in manufacturing environment is a plus
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP fundamentals
• Strong understanding of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP) subassemblies and finish good inventory and processes
• Proficient in Microsoft office, outlook MFS
• Ability to multitask in fast paced environment

Essential Physical Demands

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, including over varied and uneven terrain
• Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
• Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install parts
• Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours a day
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
• Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
• Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, reflective vest, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
