You know that buzz at the start of a big race? The 5 AM nervous energy, riders stretching, music going, the sun coming up over the start line? That's our office.

Unlimited Biking runs the bike rental operation behind some of the largest cycling events in the country. When 3,000 riders show up to race a triathlon or charity ride, we're the team that make sure those who rented with us gets on a bike that fits, works, and is ready to roll. We're hiring Bike Ambassadors to be on the ground with us at these events.

What the job actually looks like You'll travel with a small crew to event cities — sometimes a quick weekend, sometimes leaving before the weekend for bigger events. Once on site, you'll help unload trucks, set up the rental operation, fit riders to bikes, handle quick adjustments, and keep the fleet organized through race day. When the last rider rolls out, you help break it all down and head home. Long days, real work, but the kind where the time flies.

You'd be a great fit if you

  • Love bikes and the people who ride them
  • Are up for early mornings (we're often setting up at 3 or 4 AM)
  • Can handle long shifts and aren't afraid of physical work
  • Have a clean driver's license and are comfortable behind the wheel of a cargo van or non-CDL box truck
  • Communicate well in English (another language is a bonus at our bigger events)
  • Bring a good attitude and figure things out as you go

The details

  • $22–$26/hour, paid as a 1099 contractor
  • Mostly weekend work, with some Thursday/Friday travel days for events that need extra setup time
  • Full training provided — our system is dialed in and easy to learn
  • Travel, lodging, and meals covered when you're on the road for multi-day out of town events.
  • Many of the events we support raise money for great causes — cancer research, veterans, kids' programs — and that part doesn't get old

Who thrives here Cyclists, gig workers, students, retirees, fitness instructors, anyone with a flexible schedule and a love for being around the action. Some of our best Ambassadors have been with us for years because the work is genuinely fun and the team is tight.

If that sounds like you, apply. We'd love to meet you.
