Job Summary: This position requires NYS cytotechnologist licensure and is responsible for coordinating educational activities for clinical instruction of cytotechnology students who enter the Upstate/ ACPHS Hybrid Program. The staff cytotechnologist participates in evaluation and reporting gynecologic, non-gynecologic cases and fine needle aspirations. Provides on-site microscopic assessment for fine needle aspirations, performs preparation and staining specimens as needed. Performs accurate and complete documentation as required.
Minimum Qualifications: • NYS license and registration or limited permit to practice as a Cytotechnologist required. • Two years of cytotechnology experience preferred. • Ability to distinguish colors required.
Preferred Qualifications: • Work Days: M-F 8:30-5
