Cytology Manager - CA - West Hills, CA Monday to Friday, 400 AM to 1230 PM
Responsible for all QA/QC activities of the business unit. The scope of these responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Pay Range: $165,000 - $185,000 per year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assure that ALL Federal, State, and internal standards and regulations are followed. • Prepare reports as necessary to document compliance with regulations. • Monitor remedial actions necessary for compliance and regulatory agencies. • Sign off on BUs policies and workflow changes to ensure optimal performance and alignment with regulatory requirements. • Review Quality Assurance/Control records to ensure compliance with regulations. • Be responsible for maintaining BUs performance and budget within set guidelines. • Provide technical assistance and counseling in all areas regarding Cytology for all laboratories providing Cytology services for Quest Diagnostics. • Provide assistance to clients through visits or phone consultations to maintain construction relationships and address issues requiring correction. • Must include responsibility for meeting regulatory requirements, budget, and capital expense objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree Bachelors degree and/or graduate of approved Cytotechnology program or equivalent. Required Licenses or Certificate ASCP Cytotechnologist CT Required ASCP Certification Required Required
Work Experience
Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role within a large lab >100,000 tests per year. Preferred Work Experience
Physical and Mental Requirements
