Cytotechnologist Position in Houston
We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team in Houston. The Cytotechnologist will be responsible for examining cellular samples for abnormalities and assisting in the diagnosis of diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze cell specimens using various laboratory techniques
- Identify abnormal cells and consult with pathologists for further evaluation
- Maintain accurate records of test results and follow quality control procedures
- Stay updated on advances in cytology and laboratory technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or related field
- Certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT) by ASCP or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a cytology laboratory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
