    Title: Cytotechnologist Lead

    Facility: St. Anthony's Hospital - St. Petersburg, FL

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs advanced cytotechnology testing
    • Assists with cytology specimen preparation and fine needle aspirations.
    • Evaluates and classifies specimens, referring to a pathologist for final interpretation.
    • Maintains laboratory equipment and supplies, and coordinates scheduling to support workflow efficiency.
    • Demonstrates increased autonomy and contributes to operational coordination.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Experience

    • 3 years of experience in Cytotechnology is preferred.

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • Bachelor's requirement may be waived if certified prior to 1985.

    Certification

    Required:

    • CT (Cytotechnologist) - State of Florida

    Preferred:

    • ASCP/SCT certification
