About the Role:
Join D1 Training - Merrillville as a General Manager and lead a passionate team dedicated to transforming athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike. This exciting opportunity allows you to drive business growth while fostering a positive training environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of customer service.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
- Monitor financial performance and manage budgets to achieve profitability targets.
- Maintain facility standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with clients and the community to enhance brand loyalty.
- Organize events and workshops to promote engagement and community involvement.
- Utilize data analytics to track progress and improve service offerings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in management within the fitness or sports industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and staff.
- Passion for fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- Proficiency in financial management and operational strategies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Compensation: $50,000.00 per year
D1 Training is an emerging fitness franchise, that is growing rapidly. D1 Training has over 80 facilities open and 180+ in development. No gimmicks, no fads; we utilize trusted and proven training techniques used to build the world’s best athletes and deliver the, in age-appropriate programs led by our expert coaches. Nothing at D1 is random. Every workout, every day follows a strategic 8-week training cycle that is meticulously planned and backed by sports science. What began as training solely for the aspiring youth athlete, matured into fitness training for adults as well. With all who participate in the D1 training process moving aggressively towards their goals.
