Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Full Time

Description: At Bama, the Shipping and Receiving Multi-skilled Warehouse Specialist is expected to understand and perform a minimum of 2 warehouse job functions and tasks. This position would be directly responsible for ensuring a high-quality safe product while minimizing damage, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring a safe work environment and practices. The Multi-skilled Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for working in multiple positions which could be at any Bama facility.

Duties: \u2022Understand Shipping / Receiving and warehouse processes and possess the ability to drive continuous improvement. \u2022Ensure all paperwork is filled out and processed correctly for area of responsibility. \u2022Assist in Troubleshooting failures and identify corrective actions. \u2022Understand quality standards, follow those standards and knowing what to do and who to contact when some process is not functioning correctly. Minimum Qualifications: \u2022Must be able to complete the certification process in a minimum of 2 warehouse functions such as: Bulk receiving, Line Support (Line Driver and Freezer Input), Shipping/Receiving, Inventory clerk, & Shuttle Driver \u2022 Must participate in accident investigation and completion of follow-up reporting. \u2022Understand quality standards, follow those standards and know what to do and who to contact when some process is not functioning correctly.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to complete the certification process in a minimum of 2 warehouse functions such as: Bulk receiving, Line Support (Line Driver and Freezer Input), Shipping/Receiving, Inventory clerk, & Shuttle Driver \u2022 Must participate in accident investigation and completion of follow-up reporting.

Required Qualifications: HSD/GED. \u2022Understand warehouse guidelines for food safety and sanitation. \u2022Computer skills in AS400, Microsoft Word, Power point, Excel, and Email. \u2022Experience with sit down and stand-up forklift operation.
