Daily Shuttle Bus Driver for Afterschool Program

Creative Learning Academy Inc is looking for a reliable and caring Daily Shuttle Bus Driver to safely transport students as part of our afterschool program in Los Angeles, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in the lives of young learners by ensuring they get to us safely every day. Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to the afterschool program on a daily scheduled route
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure bus safety and roadworthiness
• Maintain accurate passenger logs and route documentation
• Supervise student behavior and enforce safety rules during transport
• Communicate effectively with program staff regarding route changes, delays, or incidents
• Follow all California DMV regulations and school transportation safety guidelines
• Assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed

Requirements:

• Valid California Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass a background check and DOT physical examination
• Prior experience driving a school bus or passenger shuttle preferred
• Patient, responsible, and comfortable working with school-age children
• Strong punctuality and time management skills
