Job Description / Essential Elements: Print

Substitute for contracted classroom teacher in his/her absence. Follow lesson plans, take attendance, and monitor assignments.

Requirements / Qualifications

You DO NOT have to have a current 30-Day Substitute Permit in order to apply for this position.

A Bachelor s Degree is required for substitute teaching. If you do not have a credential or 30-day sub permit, WUHSD s Personnel Office can assist you with applying for a 30-day sub permit once your Substitute Teacher application is processed. You DO NOT have to have a current 30-Day Substitute Permit in order to apply for this position.

• Copy of Transcript
• Credential Copy (If you have one, please submit a copy of your credential OR 30-Day Substitute Permit)
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two letters, dated no more than 2 years old)
• Resume
• 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
